The UID Group is part of a multi-disciplinary team that designs user interfaces for digital television and TV related products. We are looking for a forward thinking, creative individual who has a passion for design and wants to change the entertainment experience through innovative products and superb user experience. Our group gathers market and user requirements, creates scenarios, use cases, plans and conducts user tests, creates user interface specifications, and performs usability and benchmarking testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with user-centered design of consumer products and usability evaluations at various stages of product development, and will have experience with effectively negotiating interactions between designers and engineers. It is highly desirable to have good visual design presentation skills such as Flash, Photoshop, or Director for quick prototyping for internal discussions and/or negotiation with related groups.
