Expected Outcomes

The Campaign for African American AAAchievement is a community-based movement that embodies the values of academic achievement, social development and economic independence.

Among children and youth, the Campaign will foster:
1. Positive attitudes about academic aaachievement;
2. Consistent and enthusiastic participation in school;
3. Commitment to meeting and exceeding educational standards.
4. Increased social polish and improved navigational skills; and a
5. Heightened sense of history, community and self-worth.

Also, as a result of the work of the Campaign Partners, our community will see;
1. Schools that are more focused than before on student learning;
2. Higher proportions of qualified and motivated teachers in those schools;
3. Increased enrollment in rigorous courses; and
4. Increased access to and involvement in youth development programs.
In short, the Campaign for African American AAAchievement will create a new village and raise the achievement levels of our children and prepare them to meet the demands of the 21st century.
