Pyramid Scholars
With the
goal of raising educational standards for African American students,
the Golden Pyramid Program provides workshops, lectures, support and
recognition to hundreds of youth in over 50 schools throughout the
county. The year's activities culminate with the League's Annual Golden
Pyramid Awards Ceremony and Luncheon. Program activities and awards
luncheon are coordinated by the Golden Pyramid Higher Education Collaborative,
whose members include: SDSU, USUI, UCSD, Point Loma Nazarene College,
CSU San Marcos, San Diego Office of Education, San Diego City Schools,
U.S. Navy R9TC, U.S. Air Force ROTC, CAL-SOAP, USD, In-ROADS and Hewlett
Packard.
